A fusion of materials
The name 'Palea' is derived from the English word 'palette'. This word is a reference to a menu of colours with which an artist shows his expression, which is exactly how the different materials in the Palea came together.

The Palea coffee table was designed by Carolina Wilcke, who brings together various materials into a harmonious palette in this design. ‘Bringing together and balancing elements with different colours and textures was the starting point of this design,’ she says.
The Palea coffee table is special because it shines in its simplicity. The coffee table consists of several layers, each made of a different material: wood, glass and marble. These elements can be disconnected and arranged as you wish, giving you the freedom to create your own composition. This allows you to create an oblong or more square coffee table, for example, suiting almost any kind of space.
We produce the Palea coffee table locally and by hand in our Culemborg factory. The sofa is therefore entirely of Dutch origin. Thanks to our unique strip upholstery, it is also possible to reupholster the sofa, so that the furniture lasts for generations. We give a 7-year guarantee on upholstery fabrics, leather and foam and a 20-year guarantee on the beech body.
